Leading Change
Leadership always suggests moving in a particular direction. Peter Drucker, John Kotter and others have suggested that leadership is required most during times of change. Those who have worked in organizations for any amount of time would likely concur. Thus, leadership and change go together. This website contains many resources on leading change including papers and training simulations. More will be added in the months to come.
Leading Change in Asian Organization
Leading change in Asia requires different knowledge, skills, and sensitivities. While research on organizational change in Asia finds many similarities to what has been observed and described in the West, cultural adaptation is also required. Local norms that shape human behavior more generally also shape our responses to change. See other resources on this website such as the computer simulations and papers on change in Asia located on the papers page.
